Catching up #3

Day 8, Wed. June 11, 08:

We had a stay home day today.... Jenn did laundry (so what's new?) and the kids watched tv.

Day 9, Thurs, June 12, 2008:

We were up and at 'em early this morning, so we decided to take the bikes to Sugar Hollow park. Daniel has just learned to ride his 2-wheeler so he's anxious to ride. Rachel mostly played on the playground. We were glad that is was morning and it wasn't so hot yet.

Thursday evening, Laura brought Hunter and Elizabeth over for a swim at our club pool. We had a picnic dinner and stayed till 8PM. It was a very relaxing evening. We had the pool to ourselves.

Day 10, Friday, June 13, 08:

Today the kids made Father's Day cards with Jenn's scrapbooking supplies.

Friday afternoon we met our friends Andrea, Mason, Lane and Parker at the pool. Mason came home with Ben and had pizza with us. Other than that, a low key Friday night.

Day 11, Sat., June 14, 08:

Camp Q slept in today and hung around the house most of the day. Jeff had a meeting . That evening Jeff and Ben went to the Dragway to see the Monster Truck show, including the truck, War Wizard.

Jennifer took Daniel and Rachel to.. (where else?!) McDonalds!



Day 12, Sunday, June 15, 08:

Happy Father's Day! Jeff had a pancake breakfast and got the homemade cards we all made. We went all together to the Creeper Trail for a family walk. We walked about 3 miles. Here is some information about the trail Click here: Virginia Creeper Trail Club - official website.

We went to a little restaurant out in the country for BBQ for lunch afterwards. They still have a working mill. It was called the Parks Mill.

We ended a nice day cooking out on our grill and then Jeff took the boys to the movies to see "The Hulk. "
