Today CampQ tagged along with Camp "B" to Bays Mountain Park to enjoy the cool weather. Two counselors and 7 campers makes for an interesting outing... lots of animals to see, lots of trips to the bathroom, and frequent counting of heads. Despite occasional whining, the group had a great time and got along really well. There were wolves, vultures, raccoons, turtles, deer and otters to see.
The kids got a close up look at some neat stuff and Daniel got to look at lots of maps, one of the things he especially likes. He made sure we knew where we were going.
After the park we took the hungry bunch of kids to Fazoli's for lunch. I think that went really well considering the number of people and tables we took over. The only incident that really happened was the attempted escape out the door of the restaurant by one two-year old boy! Thanks CampB for a fun morning!
