Last week was such a busy week that Counselor Jenn didn't have a chance to update the blog. So this issue is sure to be full of lots of CampQ activities and news.
Camp"P" had quite a bit of excitement early last week as well. Monday was Laura and Roger's anniversary! They celebrated with a weekend getaway to North Carolina.
While they were on their trip they also celebrated Laura's 40th birthday!!!!!
Sunday night Ben and Jeff got home safe and sound. We were all happy to see them. Laura and Roger come over to stay with Daniel and Rachel since the guys plane wasn't getting in until 11 PM. Thanks Laura and Roger!!
Monday, Aug 4th: Since Jeff had one more day off before going back to work, CampQ decided to make a quick trip up to the Highlands Festival. It was nice, we always enjoy seeing what the vendors have each year.
We had ice-cream at Ellis' Soda Shop to finish off the day.
Tuesday, August 5:
Nanny has come for a visit! The kids are happy to see her!
Wed, August 6th: Rachel had her first day back to preschool today. She had a great day, I picked her up with a big smile on her face.
She had picked out the pretty dress she wanted to wear on her first day of school. She was a little shy when we got to her new classroom. I'm sure it won't last for long, she's got too much personality.
Meanwhile, Nanny has taken the boys to the Barter Theater Stage II production of the Brementown Musicians. It is part of a series of children's plays that goes on each year. I got reports that the play was fantastic, everyone enjoyed it!
