I never hurts to be prepared ahead of time, so CampQ got their lists together this morning and headed off to Target to buy school supplies. (It is possible that Counselor Jenn is hoping that the start of school would seem to get here more quickly now that we are all set!)
Benjamen took his list and his shopping cart and found everything all by himself.
Daniel and Rachel needed some help. Daniel was in charage of checking his items off of his list.
Wow! We spent a ton of money, and I thought that we would do well, not buying new backpacks and lunchboxes. But stuff for 3 kids adds up these days, I guess.I just love shopping for school supplies. There is something so satisfying about new pencils and paper and glue. Maybe this has something to do with my enjoyment of scrapbooking.
After the long shopping trip I tried to get the kids to pose in the Target "circle" in the front of the store. Rachel wasn't in the mood for a photo-op.
We ate lunch at Charley's subs then headed home. I think that we will go to the pool tonight. Jeff has a late meeting.

Wow! I am so impressed. You are such a good Mommy. What a wonderful record of the lives of your children. I think this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I didn't even know what a blog was. Boy am I glad I asked your Mom. Thanks for sharing your family with us.
