CampQ went to church this morning. Everyone was in a good mood and gettting there by 9:00 AM went smoothly. We always feel uplifted and happy when we leave after chruch. Today we sang a song taken from of one of my favorite verses in Psalms.
Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. (NIV)
This is a comforting verse for us, since our family has been under a lot of stress these past few months.
When we got home this afternoon.....
Jeff hung up the shelf that Poppie and Ben built while we were visiting them a few weeks ago. Ben got all of his NASCAR cars arranged and we took a picture so Poppie can see how good it looks! Thanks Poppie!
We are having friends over this evening for a cook-out. Laura, Roger and Laura's cousin, Michelle are coming over. After we eat most of us will go back to the church for a concert tonight. Louise is babysitting Rachel and Daniel, so she is coming early to eat with us too.
