Camp McQ was back in business today after having a rain-out yesterday. The campers watched tv and Camp "Laundry Specialist" Jenn tackled about 8 loads of laundry.
Today is a beautiful day at CampQ. It is sunny with a few white clouds and about 82 degrees.
Rachel decided this morning that she wanted to paint, so we got out the supplies and she painted a few masterpieces for the camp gallery.
Our first outing was to get the boys hair cut. No one was very enthusiastic about it, but our camp policy is to have well groomed hair. (this does not apply to the counselor though) Next stop was McDonald's for lunch. Rachel and Daniel got to pick the place today.
After lunch we headed over to the boy's school to see about a size of gym pants to order for Ben. We took a walk down to the Kindergarten room to let Daniel take a look around.
Our last stop was to Rachel's school. It is out for June and July, but we played on the playground and in the sandbox.
Rachel's big brother takes good care of her.
Jeff is on call tonight, we sure hope that he gets to come home this evening. I think that the camp may take a break from the mess hall and go out to eat.
