Today was Jenn's day to work at Crossroads Medical Mission. As always, I returned from my day of volunteering medical care to those that can not afford it, feeling thankful for how my life is so blessed and ashamed of the complaining I do.
I am truly blessed to have a great friend, Laura and her cousin, Michelle offer to watch my kids today. They made wonderful CampQ counselors and the kids had a fantastic day on her farm.
Ben and Michelle made a delicious blackberry cobbler from the blackberries growing on the farm.
Laura had the kids hard at work weeding the vegetable garden while they were tying up tomato bushes.
Boy... she must have worked them pretty hard! After lunch, they all had to head inside as a big thunderstorm hit. They got to veg out for awhile.
