Camp McQueary took the day off yesterday to just hang out and recover from the drive.
Today the campers had to run an errand for Jeff to the post office. The kids did well, much better than expected, and the postal man gave them suckers. We dropped in to see Jeff at the Abingdon office, we could only see him for about 2 or 3 minutes, he was busy. Here is the link for his practice: Click here: Seasons For You > Home
We were off to Dairy Queen to get a treat and cool off, then we headed up the hill to a playground that we have seen but never stopped at. It turned out that it is the Veterans Memorial Park and a playground that I know was there when Jenn was little. The view is beautiful from up on top of the hill, the breeze was so nice.
The merry-go-round was a blast for the kids! I am sure that they don't make those anymore though. I thought the kids would upchuck their ice cream!
