CampQ is packed up and ready to head down the road towards home. The kids took a moment to have their picture taken in the official camp hats Nannie bought them for CampQ.
"Happy Campers"....
Thanks Nannie and Poppie for a wonderful visit! We know that it is a wild and crazy time while we are there. Thanks for putting up with us. We loved it!
We headed home to CampQ. The kids coped "fairly well " being in the car. The trip home always feels so much longer.
We took a quick picnic break around the Lexington, VA area and got back on the road. We decided to stop at Radford, VA to let Jenn take a quick walk down memory lane at Radford University. This past May was the 20th anniversary of her graduation from there. Scary how time flies.
Jenn in front of her old dorm (though it isn't a dorm any more).
Reed Hall, where Jenn took most of her nursing classes.
The library, I spent a whole lot of time here.
The fountain in the middle of the campus. I never thought I would be standing here with my kids. (I never thought that I would be 42 and frumpy either!)
We made it home safe and sound and tired. Everyone was glad to see Jeff and he was glad to see us.
