We were happy to have Willem with us today as a camper with CampQ. Today we drove up to the Virginia Aviation Museum near the Richmond airport. We took Poppie with us to see the airplanes. Sitting out front of the museum is a SR-71 Blackbird, which is one of the fastest planes in the world.

The kids got to see planes from all different times in history. There were also interactive displays teaching about planes and the science of flight.

Willem spent the night with us while his mom and dad were in Charlottesville. Daniel, Willem and Rachel spent the rest of the day in Poppie's backyard hammering stakes into the ground with hammers. Miraculously, no one was hit with a hammer and Poppie got his lawn aerated for free.
Benjamin and Poppie worked on the shelf that they were making for Ben. He plans to store his large collection of Jeff Gordon cars on it in his room.
